Excessive Sweating - Different Formulations for Different Severities of the ConditionDryDerm, the only severity-based hyperhidrosis treatment, comes in six different strengths. The reason for the different formulations is simple. It’s a well known fact that we are not all the same. As with any medical condition, different people are affected with their sweating condition to varying degrees. This is also the case in focal hyperhidrosis. It is also a well known fact that we should treat a condition using the lowest strength and gradually increase if required based on the response of the condition to the treatment. * Solish N, et. al. A Comprehensive Approach to the Recognition, Diagnosis and severity-based Treatment of Focal Hyperhidrosis: Recommendations of The Canadian Hyperhidrosis Advisory committee. Dermatol Surg 2007;33: 908-23

This is exactly the idea behind DryDerm. Start with a reasonable strength and increase it (or titrate) until the desired effect is attained. This approach is consistent with the treatment of any medical condition. In addition, this is also a treatment strategy that is supported by a leading panel of experts. Feel free to consult the expert recommendations - pertinent sections have been highlighted and commented for ease of understanding and for sake of brevity ( Canadian Hyperhidrosis Advisory Committee, 2007 ) *
