DryDerm ped and childrenChildren are special. So is their skin, it's more sensitive than that of adults. A child's skin is thinner and their immune system is not as developed. This makes them more susceptible to substances with the potential to irritate their skin. That's why we have formulated a gel with strengths available in a narrower range of concentrations. This allows parents to more precisely gauge the concentration that is best suited to their child's focal hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating needs. While minimizing the risk of skin irritation. DryDerm ped* ('ped' is short for pediatric) is available in 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15% strengths. If your child cannot tolerate a certain strength, you can decide to reduce to a lower but comparable strength without comprimising too much on product efficacy.

Formulated to minimize skin irritation We have also added dexpanthenol to our DryDerm ped formulation. Dexpanthenol is a vitamin B relative that is safe and has been shown to prevent skin irritation. It is one of the key ingredients used in DryDerm HC, our skin irritation therapy cream/solution. Dexpanthenol helps maintain your child's skin barrier and ultimately reduces the likelihood of developing skin irritation. This chart shows how dexpanthenol reduces skin irritation symptoms before and after its use. In almost 500 patients, dexpanthenol improved symptoms by more than 80%**.
