A Recipe for Success
Whether you are initiating or maintaining a hyperhidrosis treatment, it's important to stay on therapy and to minimize avoiding or skipping treatments. While reducing frequency of treatment can help better tolerate a therapy, this may also lead to a slower or partial response to treatment.
Ultimately, a partial response or a delayed response can make treatment a frustrating experience. It can also lead to pre-mature treatment discontinuation which can translate into seeking alternative more invasive and costly treatments.
|
Our recommeded recipe for treatment success includes simple steps. Whether you are beginning treatment or currently treating, follow the pointers below to increase your odds of staying on therapy.
- Apply DryDerm gel or solution to affected region. To minimize irritation, the region should be dry! Blow dry region before applying treatment, if necessary (make sure blower setting is on least hot setting to avoid burning). Hydrocortisone cream can be reapplied if needed at least 30 minutes after DryDerm application.
